To-day was a real honour to be asked by Sharon Kaplan to help her at the seventh sponsored bike ride for the Isabel Hospice in Bishop’s Stortford. There were 3 races: a 25k, 50k and 100k route through the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. It really was a fun event and everyone really enjoyed themselves whilst raising funds for Isabel Hospice. It was a little emotional for me also , although I have raised over £3k myself over the years this was the first time I had helped at an event. My wife Susan died nearly 15 years ago and I found to-day a help. Everyone associated with the hospice were so nice and welcoming.
